COME AND GO VIRTUAL RETREAT
Grounded At Home
May 15th - 17th, 2020 | Wherever You Are
It was when I stopped searching for home within others and lifted the foundation of home within myself I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole.

Grounded At Home
Come and Go - Virtual Retreat
While growing up, did you ever get sent to your room? Were you ever “grounded” from doing your favorite pastime or connecting with friends? It was meant to be a punishment to make you think about your actions and behavior.
Covid-19 has grounded the world! And while we have quarantined and sheltered at home, our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual worlds have been turned upside down. Many people have lost jobs, security, income, and stability. With that displacement, our foundations may have cracked. To keep from shattering, it is more important now than ever to find your footing and ground yourself.
What does it mean to ground yourself? It basically means to be fully present and able to calm yourself in the current space you inhabit. “That sounds lovely in theory,” you say, “But how do you expect me to do that while navigating having my kids at home 24 hours a day, demanding my attention to feed them and teach them?” Or, “How do I stop the worry and anxiety when bills are arriving in the mailbox and there’s no work on the horizon?”
Our goal is to create a space and community to support self-care, provide tools and healing practices to help you process what is happening through this traumatic time in order to create grounding and peace. We feel it is necessary support, even for those who cannot afford this type of retreat so that there is more potential for individual recovery rather than carrying forward the emotional and spiritual effects of this traumatic time.
We have invited over 30 therapists, coaches, healers, musicians, creatives, artists and wellness professionals to join forces and bring you this special virtual retreat.
This three-day event will kick off Friday evening with an opening ceremony and concert. The next two days will be packed with all-attendee “Anchor Sessions” and smaller breakout groups. You will have the opportunity to create the weekend that best serves you and your current needs. We will be covering the topics of finance, relationships, health, and offering many healing modalities for you to explore, including music, art, breathwork, reiki and EFT. Please join us, and commit to rebuilding the life you want to live.
Additional Information
We have decided to make this offering 100% donation based as a way to be inclusive to all. If you are in a position to pay, please do – the proceeds will go to the presenters to thank them for sharing their time and gifts.
If you are having a financial hardship, then we invite you to pay it forward in the future.
When we heal ourselves, we are able to help heal the world.
Included in the weekend:
3 days of Community & Connection
Grounding & Healing Tools
Daily Movement
Healing Music
Group Sessions
Creative Expression
Follow up Resources and Online Gifts

Custom Retreat Designer/Breathwork & Reiki Practitioner
Shelly Eilrich is a Kansas native and founded Becoming Bohemian Retreats three years ago after having witnessed a profound transformation in herself at a personal retreat weekend. Growing up, her mom helped foster her creativity through sewing, poetry, and hands on projects. Once she arrived in high school, she chose a path of false reality through alcohol and conforming to society standards. That path continued until she was 33 and fired from her job at a law firm by her sister-in-law. She has been on an intense healing path now for over 11 years and is always exploring new healing modalities for herself and to bring to others. Some of those tools include a 12 step recovery program, reiki, breathwork, creativity, nature immersion, meditation, and yoga. She has a deep desire for connection and community, hoping to make that more accessible to everyone. She has completed her Level 1 & 2 Reiki Usui and Holy Fire Reiki training along with level 1 Healer Training. She will give you permission to be fully authentic by sharing her raw vulnerability throughout the weekend.

Kate Stone is a self-described “recovering artist”. After a fifteen year career in music, modeling and acting, Kate stepped away from the toxicity of the entertainment industry and awakened to a whole new experience of herself and the wounds she needed to make peace with from childhood that were causing her to choose her story. Embarking on a journey through trauma (c-ptsd) recovery and its related healing crisis, with the help of God and many gifted healers and mentors (some of whom are presenting at this retreat), she has recovered from liver disease and gallstones holistically, and is managing her central nervous system and mind-body-spirit connection much better these days. She will be the first to claim she is no expert and has no credentials in the healing arts field, but with her passion and her own personal experience these past four years, Kate has felt led to step into her authentic self and use her gifts to help others find their own journey to psychological and spiritual healing and freedom, as well as the connection between their tandem physical and energetic bodies. She is currently writing her first book and dreams of running a healing retreat center in the future. This partnership with Shelly Eilrich of Becoming Bohemian Retreats, “Grounded at Home” is her first of hopefully many such passion projects.

Stevey
Singer/Songwriter
steveymusic.com
Stevey’s quest inward began after a job promotion moved him west to the Rocky Mountains (Fort Collins, CO). He had already forged a successful career path through his deeply ingrained work ethic. And yet, he felt unfulfilled… longing for more… something beyond the limits of the five senses and confines of the traditional corporate grind. It was then that Stevey decided to dive head-first into songwriting. Although he’d been writing poetry off-and-on since childhood and had even been a member of a college boyband, this new venture was a significant challenge. For one, his guitar skills were limited to being self-taught and primarily by ear. However, Stevey began to let his life experiences, travels, dreams, and fears pour onto the pages with no regard for genre or style.

As a child, Pamala was shuffled between family members, which left her devoid of a sense of identity and self-worth. Feeling unloved and unwanted, she found that the only way to cope was to keep herself small and quiet. Sadly, Pamala felt she was somehow defective; she had no idea there was a Creator who loved her deeply and had never left her side. Pamala’s transformation began deep in the heart of Mother Nature, while she lay upon the earth, weeping. She suddenly experienced profound love, seemingly out of nowhere. She felt comforted, held, nurtured…all of the gifts she thought she didn’t deserve.
